Hi Everyone,

I just found this forum, and I am so excited to be able to communicate with other lap-banders. I just had my lap-band surgery 5 weeks ago, and I am going in next week for my first adjustment. So far I have lost about 17 pounds, but it seems to have slowed down the last couple of weeks. I live in Gulf Shores, AL, smack in the middle of Hurricane Ivan destruction path! I am looking forward to meeting all the other members on here, and I especially look forward to having someone to share this with, since I told NO one except my husband that I had this done.

Any questions you have, you will get many answers and replies. Lotta love here, we are like one big happy family. Watch out for Delarla & Penni though. They will keep you laughing constantly!!! Lots of veterans here who can help you and lots of newbies too who can help you. We all help eachother any way we can, emotionaly physically , Great group of people here!!!
