Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll will have to keep my excitement down a bit, LOL. I just got approved for Lap Band surgery! Finally, after 5 months of tests and waiting.

Now, the hard part- the meetings. One place lets you do two of them at home, but the first one, you must attend in person. I can handle that, but why do they have them only once a month? So, I have to wait another 3 months before they schedule surgery? Oh, well, that's the breaks. I'll just have to contain my excitement and wait it out a bit longer, until I get my Lap Band. Keep your fingers crossed for me, that this goes smoothly!

Thanks,

Audrey

Are you saying that insurance is going to buy you a band? If so, that's a doubley-whammy CONGRADS to you! Just getting banded is a huge thrill, but not having to pay for it is phenomenal! Good luck to you. The wait is worth it!

Congratulations! The wait is definitely worth it! It took me 8 months to get final approval. Then the surgery was scheduled pretty fast. It cost me about $1000 out of pocket. (Depends on your particular insurance plan.) My surgery included some other fixes not normally included and was billed at $46,000. You've got all the red tape behind you. Better start "getting your ducks in a row". You're getting a band! Yeah!!!
