Has anyone had the lap band done in Arkansas, specifically Little Rock? Or in the neighbouring states? Any good recommendations? Any rumors, good or bad? How do you go about investigating doctors? I have a feeling I have to pay for this myself. How much did your operation cost?

I had my band placed on 5/4 by Dr. Wellborn with Arkansas Obesity clinic. I had to pay for it myself, no insurance coverage. It was $16,000. So far I have not had to pay any more.

What is your history with weight loss and I might be able to give you more insight!

I have had a consultation with Dr Lambert in Batesville Ar. I was pretty pleased with my appointment with him and his nurse. He didn't rush me in my asking questions and he was very informative.
