Hi, I am 34 and after 2 false starts am finally ready. My weight has started to cause health issues that are well controlled on meds. But my doctor said the meds will eventually take their toll on my body as well.
I have attended a seminar, had my first consult with the surgeon, who gave me an initial weight loss goal of 19 pounds from my heaviest, which was 9 pounds from that visit on the 22 of July. I am now 4 pounds from my goal.
I meet with the psychologist for my evaluation on Tuesday.
I am nervous and excited. I hope to be at my goal weight of 254 by the end of next week.
As long as all goes well on Tuesday and I get the last 4 pounds off, I hope to have a surgery date soon. With any luck I will have surgery in early September.
