Heartburn.. Will it ever go away? :((( HELP

I'm 10 days post op and i started experiencing contiuous heartburn. Its really annoying and no medication is working. I've never had acid refluxes before the surgery.

Is this a normal symptom?? And will it ever go away or is it a permanent side effect that i have to live with??

@@Hope25 Did you get a prescription antacid? That's a hard question to answer some are lucky and either don't have it or it fades away and some will continue to have it. I still take my prescription daily. I missed it in the very beginning one day and woke up literally choking on acid. It burned my throat and hurt for days! So I was scared to not take it but then I went on vacation to CO week before last and forgot it, I did fine those 5 days but there were times I felt like it could possibly be starting? Anyway If your not taking a prescription for it then maybe you should as your dr for one. Especially in the healing stage, you don't want that acid hurting your new sensitive, healing sleeve! Good luck hope you feel better and get some resolve.
