Nausea when smelling food...help!

I'm about 3.5 months post-op and I've been getting nauseated when I smell strong food, like when my husband makes popcorn, breakfast, coffee...etc. I get sick to my stomach. What could this be and what can make it better?

isn't that just the most odd thing ? that has happened to me too ... the thing that set me off the most ... was Cheerios !! so strange ...

but as time goes on , it goes away ... have you noticed things you once loved ... now you cannot stand ? for me it was tomato Soup .... I thought during this process that I'd at least have my tomato soup to lean on ... but the first couple of sips ... YUCK !!!!! and the smell of it .. ewwww

Just so strange how a change in your stomach ... makes your taste buds and smeller go all wacky !

Ok good, glad I'm not alone! Yes Cheerios that is so odd! Mine is mainly when I smell food other people are cooking or first thing in the morning when I wake up for the first few hours. I haven't found any solution to help with it though.

I actually haven't found anything I can't stand now that I did like before But, I have heard that is really common and it happens to many people.
