August 6, 201510 yr Popular Post Today I found a new protein source for myself because I'm getting so tired of shakes all the time. It's a protein water called Protein-2-0 and I found it at the grocery store. Tastes much better than shakes and easier to drink. Edited August 6, 201510 yr by Tomojac
August 6, 201510 yr Where in the grocery store did you find this? Was it by the soda, the Powerade and Gatorade?
August 7, 201510 yr I'm not a protein shake fan. I power through it in the morning, but don't like it lol. I also add protein powder to crystal light. When I mix it with lemonade I don't even taste it
August 7, 201510 yr Author #scarlet witch 19th Do you mix plain protein powderived with the crystal light? How do you keep it from being lumpy?
August 7, 201510 yr I haven't had many issues with it getting lumpy. I use Now Sports whey protein isolate and mix one scoop with 16oz and just shake it really well. I get the occasional clump of powder (yuck) but for the most part it mixes great and I don't even taste it. I've mixed it with other sugar free fruit drinks as well but lemonade is my favorite. it's also low calorie, like 110calories
August 11, 201510 yr Am I the only one who thinks it's kind of unnatural to have to rely so much on Protein supplements? I am starting to wonder about the long-term effects of this and all the artificial sweeteners in the sugar-free products they want us to use. What's the point of losing 100 pounds if I am going to die of cancer in 10 years from all the aspartame. Sorry, rant over. Edited August 11, 201510 yr by ezbeinggreen

What's the point of losing 100 pounds if I am going to die of cancer in 10 years from all the aspartame. Sorry, rant over. You can find protein powders and supplements that don't have any artificial sweeteners in them. A lot of "health gurus" have touted the protein isolate for decades to supplement our western diets and they seem to all still be alive and kicking it, so I figure if they can do it, I can too. As far as all the other sugar free junk like puddings and drinks, I don't plan to do those any longer than I have to and even then it won't be aspartame because it gives me migraines. I think my chances are better than doing nothing.
August 19, 201510 yr Looks like Amazon carries this product, how is the cost compared to what you paid? I'll look for it in the store. Has anyone done research on price/taste of shakes vs powder. Or buying it from the dr.s office? I'm three weeks pre op and need to start purchasing...how much should I have on hand? What else should I have on hand? http://www.amazon.com/Protein2o-Flavored-Protein-Water-Variety/dp/B00YBDLEPC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1439986829&sr=8-1&keywords=protein+Water

August 19, 201510 yr Author @@sparksrn I found it at the grocery store (Hy-Vee) and it was kinda spendy at $2.89 a bottle. The Amazon price is much better. I'll have to order it from them now I tried it.
August 20, 201510 yr What is the best Unflavored protein powder? I am very discouraged because everything I try I really hate. I tried unjury unflavored today in my crystal light and could barely get 4 oz down. The premier chocolate shake is ok but I've had so many now, I can barely get that down!
