Is this heartburn?

I am 7 days post op. I have had a hard time finding things my sleeve will tolerate. Sick of clear liquids. Does heartburn feel the same as before surgery?

I have only ever had heartburn maybe a couple times before surgery. When I had it post surgery the other day after eating something spicy, it was far more intense.

I found I had a lot of extra acid the first three months or so, it felt a lot like hunger even with a PPI. It is much better now and I am 3.5 months out.
