So are you preparing yourself for the surgery? How long does your insurance require before you're approved? Also where are you considering to have it done?

NY Presbyterian with Dr Bagloo. She's great but unfortunately she left to another hospital but the staff and service is tremendous there.

Ook that's great I thought about that hospital but Lenox Hill was closer by train

I am scheduled for surgery on 9/28 and I can't wait to start my journey to better health.

Has anyone else here had the sleeve at Bellevue? What was your experience? How was recovery?

I have two little kids and a new nursing career and I'm hoping the recovery won't get in the way of day to day tasks beyond one week.

I'd love to hear your stories.
