Protein shakes and breakouts

So recently i went to my PCP because for a while now i had been breaking out all over my face. I don't usually have a really bad problem but its been going on for several months and nothing I have tried has worked. When i went to her office she asked if there was anything different that I had been eating and I said no but later it dawned on me that the only thing i had been having was protein shakes. So last week i went on vacation with my family to myrtle beach and didn't have any shakes. My face cleared up almost instantly. So now I'm not sure if I should find a different type of shake or if there was something in that shake that i shouldn't have. I say alllll of this(sorry for being long winded) to say has anyone else had a similar problem with protein shakes and if so what did you do?

As someone with severe food allergies, I'd say it sounds like you are having a mild reaction.

I think you're right. I'll have to talk to my doctor about what I should do about it. Thanks
