Bleeding gums, Can't sleep

Hey everyone. I've been having problems sleping, surgery was June 15th. Last night I felt a funny taste in my mouth and was coughing and when I looke, all my gums were bleeding. Anyone have thoughts if this is related to surgery?

      I would call surgeon first, then doctor. Could be a vitamin or nutrition deficiency. Hope u figure ut out!

    I've not experienced it, but it could be a vitamin/nutrient deficiency. I would call the doctor in the AM and inquire if it could be related.

    Not on blood thinners, only the day of surgery when they gave me a shot on my tummy. Ok.. will call....opinion on calling my family doctor or my surgeon?
