Hi everyone! Just checking to see who has had their gallbladder removed AFTER the sleeve. I'm 9 months out and just found out I have gallstones. I don't know what to expect or anything. So any info you have to share would be great. Thanks

I was sleeved just over 3 weeks ago and i still have my gallbladder. Just yesterday at my post-op with my doctor she gave me a prescription to take for the first year to help prevent losing my gallbladder. I turned it in at the pharmacy and i'm waiting for it to be filled and I don't remember the name of the drug. Did your doctor give you anything like that?

My husband got a prescription right after surgery to help them keep his gallbladder. He only had to take it for a month!
