Pain with digestion

Since surgery, I have been experiencing increased pain with digestion. I can feel the food/drink going down, but once it hits the stomach, it causes severe pain. It feels like digestion cramps, but I am certain it is not suppose to feel this way. I would think nearly 2 weeks out, there should not be. Mash potatoes hurt and drinks. Please help!
