I have blue cross with highmark..... want to know if anyone else has them and has got an approval or denial? I have a bmi of 42 and dropping no comorbitities and worried I will be denied. ... please help

You can call your insurance company and ask for a copy of the coverage for Bariatric Surgery. It will show you what they are looking for and what you need to qualify. Good luck!

Thank you shrinkingpeach I have dug pretty deep on the whole insurance company policy and coverage..... gotten alot of mixed messages from insurance, clinic and even case manager which is a requirement. I'm just looking for any pros and cons on highmark because I know they are all so different on how they cover and approve!!
