Understanding weight loss process

I am new on here. I am trying to understand this process my body is experiencing. I had surgery 6/16 with a starting weight of 228. I now weigh 216.8 (6/21) I did not expect this weight loss. I not complaining please don't take it that way... I just thought I would be losing 1-2 lbs a week. Am I doing something wrong? I am stage 1 with protein shakes. I am drinking 60 oz and getting all my protein grams and vitamins.

If you're getting enough Water in, which it sounds like you are....just enjoy the loss. :)

Your body may be shedding some excess fluids post op.

Everyone loses ( or doesn't lose ) at a different pace. Hopefully you continue to be happily surprised!

Best wishes!
