Trial run on pre-op diet

I am doing a trial run on the pre-op diet that my doctor gave me and I know that sounds wired , but I just wanted to see how strong and committed I could be.. it will probably be close to the end of the year before I have it done.. u have to submit labs and clearance from my primary physician. . I also have to pay my part I owe the doctor before he preforms the surgery.. so that means I will have to either use some sort of credit or save up and pay it with cash..

  • I made it thru the first day without cheating , but I just hope that by the end of the week I can say I can do this before and after surgery

I just started my pre op diet 2 weeks ago. I have lost most water weight and have had no cravings until today. I have been feeling a bit ill though today so I am not on my regular routine. The diet is not as hard as I thought it would be. I think the hardest thing is making sure you get your protein in and coming up with a wide variety of recipes to keep your diet exciting. Best of luck to you!

You can do it! It helps to have a social atmosphere like this. You get tons of support from people who are going through or have already gone through the same thing. Good Luck and remember, you can do this!!
