just got banded

Hi, I just got banded on thursday. doin pretty good not much pain or anything.The liquid diet realy sucks, I've been dreaming about food,:notagree.My stomache looks like I'm 5 months prego, is that the gas? how long will that take to go away?? Its also is bruised and feels a little like ive been punched in the gut,is that normal? Any one els feel the same?

    Hi Jen,

    I was banded on Monday June 18th and yes the swelling is from the gas....I still have some gas but it is better. My stomach looked like your too but today it is a little less swollen. Just bare with it it will pass and you will enjoy the weight loss. Best of luck.
