Welcome Lainy, I'm and new bandster form Canada. Just banded on June 2/07 down 12lbs. The worst part is waiting to be banded , or at least it was for me. But I only had a couple days of being uncomfortable, and after that it seems to be free sailing. The clear fluid is not good but I' am now on fluids for one more week then onto puree's (can't wait).

Congradulations you on your decision and wish you all the best. GOOD LUCK!
