7 weeks post op . Is honey ok? I'm have a sore throat and could sure use some honey. I just can't remember what the DR said and won't be able to ask til the morning.

I was told due to the high amount of sugar to avoid honey permanently after surgery. However, they *do* make sugar free honey!! If you can't find it at your grocery store, Amazon has several varieties.
