having problems with heartburn/reflux, HELP

I am 21/2 weeks out from surgery and having heartburn/reflux worse than before my sleeve. I even get it with Water. I take zantac, but that is not cutting it. Any advice. I'm dying here. Eating is so hard. This almost makes me wish I did not have the surgery.

    Sounds like something stronger like Omeprazole or Protonix might be in order, and/or increasing your dose. Definitely get in touch with your doctor and ask for help!

    Thanks for the reply. I have a call into my Doc. I was really hoping this would be better after surgery. They even fixed my hernia. But I guess I will see what more meds can do for it. Sigh.
