I had the lap band since 2009, I stared out losing weight great, then life happened, I was depressed and started gaining weight. I could never tolerant having the band inflated anymore as I would only vomit. So on May 22nd, 2015 I had my lap band out and switched to a sleeve. I did great right after surgery until last weekend. I can not drink anything. I went today for a IV due to being so dehydrated. I am sick to my stomach all day and night, have the worst heartburn and I'm just miserable!!! I am on reglan, zophran and pepsid for the nausea and heartburn, but it does not help!!! I'm starting to regret my decision, although I do not miss the lap band. Has anyone had these symptoms and are they going to be forever? Please if anyone has any advise please share.
