Monday June 8th is the day!

I'm scheduled for 1:15pm on Monday. A little nervous but ready to go. Anyone have a suggestion for a good protein shake/brand? I really have never liked any I have tried over the years. Also anyone else having one next week?

So far Premier Protein is my favorite. Sometimes I add flavorings to mix things up a bit. Things like PB2, Stevia, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract, decaf instant coffee.

I'm June 8 too! I have tried WonderSlim, Celebrate, and Bariatric Advantage. I really like the first 2 but Bariatric advantage is ok too. I've tried the chocolate, vanilla, cheesecake, and cinnamon roll flavor sand have been surprising good. Since I've been on my period-op diet for 2 weeks, have tried quite a few of them.

My surgery is on 6/9. I've been on a liquid diet for the past two weeks which has consisted of Protein shakes and chicken broth. The DR sold me Fortify BariEssentials. It's actually pretty decent. They also gave recipes to change it up abit. My favorite is to add decaf coffee grounds. I heard powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury is also good.

Unjry, WonderSlim, and Celebrate all have good tasting products.

Count me in for sleeve surgery June 8!!! Excited, scared and READY. Protein shakes...premier chocolate is really good (found at Sam's Club) thick and creamy, 30 g of protein. I like the Atkins shakes as well. Good luck June sleeves onward and downward we go! ????

Here is another one that is having gastric sleeve on Monday 8th June, so excited :)

I am on the 8th also. I am driving 6 hours to the Mexico border tomorrow. I am really excited.

Congratulation! If I may ask, how did you hear about Mexican doctors? I never knew anything about that and their qualificTions?

Good luck to all of you that had your surgery! Unfortunately I had to postpone mine. My back went out on Wed. night and can't walk, etc. very well and will have an injection Thursday. Hope I can get rescheduled in 2-3 weeks. This has been a very hard, depressing day. The forum is motivational when I read all of your victories.
