Aetna POS II Revision

What was your approval process like with Aetna? I'm just starting my journey to get rid of this awful band giving me reflux and only lost 25lbs since 2008. Were u made to do a 3 month diet again? I would love to hear your approval stories and how long it took you!

I did the 3 month diet but my surgeon removed band and is having me wait 3 months anyway. I have gained since the removal but was approved by Aetna anyway quickly.

I had to do a 3 month supervised diet, get psych eval, and meet with a dietician once. I have POS Aetna same as you, submitted to Aetna and within a week they wanted more info. Since I had the band since 2006 and showed minimal weight loss they wanted yearly weigh in's to confirm I was compliant. Dr submitted info and I was approved in a few days. Surgery date June 26th 2015 Sleeve. YEAH! can't wait to have this band out of me!
