Post-op day 4

I had the Lap-band operation last Sunday. I'm not able to eat or drink much yet. Yesterday I had 1 glas of Soup, litle bit of protain shake and Water. Everything that is cold makes me feel bad, I get pain in my cheast when I swallow. Is this normal? I'm worried how little I can eat but I feel fine, not hungry or anything. I have not been able to drink more the 1-2 cup water each day since surgery.

I'm sorry to hear about that. You should maybe call the nurse number you received.

At the pharmacy there are drinks that are high in Vitamins Protein, fibers and is sold over the counter. They are expensive, 4 bottles about 2000 kr. But they taste good and might help to get some calories :)

Good luck
