Hello from Idaho

My name is John and I am from Idaho Falls. I am 30 and had the surgery about 3 weeks ago. I have felt totally fine with no vomiting and little pain. However, I am very hungry and have cheated 3 times since surgery and had no problems. I have lost 15 lbs but am now scared because I have been able to each much more than I thought. I don't get my first adjustment for another 3 weeks. Did anyone else have this problem? I am not sure what to do. I don't want to cheat but it is getting more and more difficult not too.

By the way, I appreciate this forum and look forward to learning from everyone.

Welcome to LBT, and to bandland!

John, just because you can eat that stuff, doesn't mean you should. This is a time for healing, and you aren't supposed to eat anything to make your stomach work/churn. If you are extremely hungry, call your doctors office and see what they recommend. They started me on mushies at 2 weeks, then solids at 4 weeks, but not all doctors do that. You really do need to follow your doctor's orders.
