May 9, 201511 yr Hey there! I am also a patient of Dr. Nick. My surgery is scheduled for June! I am actually a revision patient as I had a band that slipped and had to be removed, now I'm going to be a sleeved!! I am a ball of emotions! Dreading the pre and post op diets but it's all so worth it!! Congrats on your surgery date!
May 10, 201511 yr Author You too! I'm just ready to get through these tough parts and enjoy my life at a higher level! I am anxious about the diets but have to start on the 25th. Don't want to get into surgery and have them back out because my liver is too big. Are you going to go to the support group meetings he offer some?

Is one better than the other? Dr. Nick gave me 2 options. I have only been to the one at Baylor Plano.... The one in Dallas is too far a drive for me. I am sure they are both great! I just finished the first week of my pre-op diet and am down 8 pounds!! I am hoping this week goes by fast so I can get to my surgery date!
