Ulcer, What does it feel like?

Can anyone who may have had an ulcer tell me what it feels like? I have been experiencing pain near my lower bellybutton scar internally for about three weeks now off and on. I am 6 months out. I feel intuitively that it may be an ulcer.

I've had a few. Sometimes crampy feeling, mostly dull ache that won't let up. Eating more often than not helps it feel better for a little bit. But, if it's an ulcer, that's an odd place typically. You'd expect it in the mid abd. or maybe to the right of mid-abd; and by that, I mean above the umbilicus. It happens by the anastomosis. That having been said, every one is different. It could be adhesions. Best to consult your doctor. Good luck.
