Stomach pain concern

I'm about two weeks post op sleeve.

Dr told me to start working in soft foods and purees so yesterday I had some mashed potatoes then a few hours later some cottage cheese. Later that night my stomach started hurting and now this morning it's hard for me to get anything in without it hurting. Mainly water. Does anyone know why this is happening? Should I be really concerned?

I have been having similar things. Actually five weeks post off. Have been on liquid until the four week mark. Since switching to puréed/soft my stomach hurts whenever I drink water. Only a few seconds after a drink but annoying and makes it hard to get liquid in. Hoping it's just a phase from getting used to it.
