Back to work tomorrow :(

I've been off work since surgery on 3/26. I'm still having trouble getting even close to 60 grams of protein and 64 oz of water. I've just been a b---- today! Don't want to go back. It's an accounting desk job so it shouldn't be bad. Ugh. Anyone else have trouble going back?

I had surgery on March 24th and that was my first day off. I went back to work March 31st. You will probably get tired pretty easy and will be glad when it is time to go home. I wish you the Best o

The past 2 days back to work havent been good. Feeling nauseas and blah.

Hang in there when I went back to work it helped a lot get back into a normal routine! Just make sure u plan meals and have lunches packed and protein shakes on the go with u at all times!

I took off 3 days, worked at home for 2 weeks, then went back.. it was hard, but I worked it.. just have your stuff ready to go.

  • 3 weeks later...

This is my first week back at work and it's tough. I feel like I was so much more focused on my Protein and liquids when I was at home. But, I think it's just about figuring out a new routine. It may take a little trial and error to see what works best, it's a learning curve. But I'm sure we'll all get there!

I've been packing a lunch bag with ice packs to store my Protein drinks, Water, yogurt, and Jello. I'm starting on solids next week so I hope it will get a little easier. I did have one day this week that I didn't get enough protein in and I didn't get many calories and I felt like crap. Lesson learned. This is all new to me... so still figuring it all out.

I went back to teaching one week after surgery. Probably should have taken another week because I fell asleep on my floor during my planning periods! Feel great now (six weeks out, surgery was 3/24/15) but still get tired in the afternoon! Hoping to have more energy once summer break gets here :)

Good thing teachers get three months off in the summer! Totally kidding - I have many teacher friends and you are lucky to get a few weeks off. Hang in there!!! :)
