Ok guys..... I was really stupid and got caught up in the heat of the moment and had really REALLY rough sex, and it was NOT in a bed. Needless to say, nothing around me was soft or cushiony by any means. This was last night. About two hours later, I noticed that my port was not where it usually was, but like under my ribs!!!! Not only that, but I can eat A LOT. This is terrible! I feel like it may have slipped up, or..... what if I caused a leak by being reckless??? I'm so upset.

I was banded Nov. 16, 2006. I HAD (have?) 1.6 cc's in my band. Now it feels like it's not even there. My Dr. is on vaca and I cannot get in until Monday. So in the meantime, I'm freaking out! I talked to the nurse and she said the port could have "flipped". Well, I didn't tell her what caused this because I was too embarrassed.

Has anyone done anything like this or had an impact that may have disrupted the placement of the band?

I'm SOOOO angry with myself and I shoulda been more careful!!!! I worked so hard for this and now I feel like I could have screwed it up and might have to have revisional surgery--- just for one stupid night (1/2 hour!) of passion.

Although I Am Single And Celebit At This Time In My Life, One Of My Friends And I Had The Same Conversation The Other Day....if Rough Sex Could Cause The Port To Move Or The Band To Slip. I'll Check Back For The Answer If Any Of The Ole School Bandsters Have Any Advise.

I remember my surgeon telling me that some police officers have had their ports shift due to getting punched in the stomach. I suppose anything is possible. If you're really feeling uncomfortable about it, maybe you should get it checked.

On a side note....you definitely have a more exciting sex life than I do! LOL!
