PROTEIN SHAKES?

I am a month away from my surgery but starting my pre-op diet in a few days. My biggest stresser is not the surgery itself but the pre & post op diet. I am one who likes and needs a set written routine so I can prepare ahead of time. There are so many protein products out there but I don't want to go buy 1 of every kind. I would like to start out with the 5 top ones to try so I can prepare. Any ideas? HELP!!!

I like the premier protein shakes in chocolate. I, like you, didn't want to buy a whole lot and not like them. You can go to their website and buy single servings to try first. (That's what I did). Yo

You will get dozens of differing opinions here. It really is a matter of taste. Personally, for me, I use Now Foods Unflavored Whey Isolate powder (buy on Amazon) when I mix my own shakes and Torani sugar-free syrups to flavor them. For ready-to-drink shakes, I drink EAS AdvantEDGE Carb Control Rich Dark Chocolate flavor (buy at Walmart and Target).

I use syntrax nectar - fuzzy navel flavour. It mixes really well with water, this flavour tastes like a watered down orange juice, its quite nice. One scoop gives you 23g of protein.

Vgsmary where do you get protein shake mix

Im in Australia, so we cant find this product here easily. I found it initially on ebay, however i have since found it from a decent online store www.vitacost.com that can ship it out to me with reasonable shipping prices - if you live within the US it has free shipping. N.b. You may find this cheaper from other online stores like Amazon etc, it just that the shipping costs to australia from those stores is just as much as the product itself for me, so its not worth using those retailers.

I love the Syntrax Nectars. I have the Cappuccino flavor for Breakfast every morning.

Remember your tastes change post op. So don't stock up on a ton of protein powder now. I would suggest sampling as any as you can. I was perfectly fine with Choc/vanilla whey pre op. Post op I had to choke it down.

I love the Chike protein powders and the liquid pocket protein drinks
