Need a buddy! :)

I'm 22 years old female and my surgery date is scheduled for April 14th. I'm 5'11/6', depends on who measures me, and I currently weight 340lbs. I would love to find someone to keep in touch with who has similar age, stats, and surgery date!!

If you can't find someone your age and stats, and still want a buddy, just let me know. I'm 53, and am 4 months out from surgery. We all go through pretty much the same stuff, so it's good to have someone to go through it with. Good luck on your journey!

I am 23, 5' 9" and have surgery tomorrow, April 7th! I am more than willing to buddy up. I mean, i'll only be a week ahead of you! :D

BEST thing I ever did. Went to the doc today and I am down 20.8 pounds.. I'm 20% down to my goal of 100 pounds. Good luck to everyone that does this surgery. You will not regret!!

Thanks Samantha!!! I just finished all my pre admission testing today and was so happy that I got to meet the director of nursing of the hospital where I am having my surgery. She had the sleeve 8 months ago by my doctor and was telling me about her experience. I'm

excited-scared-nervous!!!

I FINALLY got the call from the hospital with my time~ 6AM so I have to leave my house at 4:15AM to get to the hospital. I'm now officially freaking out. I'm so emotional I cry like over everything. I'm a Girl Scout leader and tonight at our meeting the girls were hugging me telling me that they will keep me in their prayers and I was literally fighting the tears.

I have had 8 different surgeries in my life. Everyone allways blows it out of proportion you will be just fine..

You will be fine. They will give u pain meds often and even if u don't think u need them take them. U don't want the pain to catch up with u.. And it's not bad pain. I walked 6 laps the night of my surgery.. Walk walk walk.. The more u walk the more the gas will move around. They talk about shoulder pain from the gas.. I didn't have any. Just keep walking
