  15. I'm 22 years old female and my surgery date is scheduled for April 14th. I'm 5'11/6', depends on who measures me, and I currently weight 340lbs. I would love to find someone to keep in touch with who has similar age, stats, and surgery date!!
  16. I have PCOS, my BMI is 44, have high blood pressure, but my insurance still required 6 months of weight management visits. The only positive thing was they counted each visit I had with my endocrinologist so I only had to do 3 months with the WL clinic. My surgery is schedule for April 14th. I'm actually grateful for the the wait period. It gave me time to mentally prepare for this big change I'm about to under go.

  18. Hi I'm Kayla. I'm 22 years old, 340lbs and my surgery is schedule for April 15th 2015. The clinic that I'm having my surgery done with doesn't have ANYONE who is around my age that is going through or has gone through this process. I just wondered if there are any young adults that have any advise. How did it go for you? Did you tell your friends? Was it hard to adjust back into the "young adult/college life"?? Any info would be great!!

  20. My insurance require 6 months of documented weight management visits. The time really does pass by quickly. It gives you time to physically and mentally prepare. My surgery is scheduled for April 14th 2015 and I can't believe it's so close. Good luck!
