Is this weird?!?

Hey All!

I need some advice. I'm scheduled to get sleeved May 4 and I have my pre-op appointment April 29th. I don't have a liquid diet either. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I do want to follow some sort of pre-op diet, I was advised to continue what I've been doing which is 1200 calorie diet and low fat...which doesn't seem enough for pre-op diet.

Thanks for any advice!

I'm on track to be sleeved in June and my Bariatric center has me on a high protein 1500 calorie diet. That is my pre-op diet. They said there's no need for the extreme liquid diet and everyone does i

The only pre-op diet I had was the week prior I was on just clear liquids and protein shakes. This is mainly to shrink your liver to make it easier for the surgery. The day prior all I could have was water till midnight. If you don't have a fatty liver you may not need to go on a strict diet.

Same here - two week pre-op diet and two day clear liquids prior to surgery.
