17 days out when am I going to feel normal?

I'm taking all my vitamins, 60gr of protein and 60oz fluids, I still feel like I got run over by a train. I'm sore in my upper stomach and reflex soreness in my upper back. I feel drowsy, lousy, sleepy. When am I going to feel normal?

The last time I had surgery which was much less invasive and did not require a hospital stay I didn't feel "normal" for more than 12 weeks. Surgery/anesthesia is tough on our bodies. Be patient, listen to your body and give it what it's asking for.

I was so exhausted it was nearly overwhelming. I knew to expect it but living through it is difficult. About 24-25 days i actually started feeling a bit alive again. Three week mark seems common for many. Now a week later I can actually get things done and even raked a bit of leaves today. So you are probably only 7-10 days away from feeling noticeably better.

I don't know if I would push ( or puss :) ). You just have to gauge it yourself. There was no way I vould walk far...so I would do our driveway. Housework was minimal.
