I'm from the Bronx! Having my surgery at Columbia Pres. Hi!!

Emma I'm from the heights too but have been living in the Bronx for 6 hrs. Who is your doc? When's your surgery?

Dr.Bagloo too! She had you lose 30 before the operation?

Oh and I haven't met with her yet. I will meet with her after my surgery is approved.

I like her and in my case my bmi is really high so she wanted me to lose 40 pounds before my operation I have lost 13 so far but if I get this 30 pounds off my April 22 I wud do surgery but if I have not reached that goal yet it would have to be postponed

Good luck with the WL!! You can do it!! What range does she consider really high? I'm wondering if she would ask me to lose a certain amount. We shall see

I'm from the Bronx but live in Westchester county now. I hopefully will have my surgery soon at Lawrence Hospital.

Yes Emma!! You can do it. I have GHI. I think Columbia takes health first not sure if too far from u

If you ladies want we can start a bronx message group or something ????

Thank you ladies for the encouragement and we should definitely do that group I just don't know how to do it lol and I have health first with Medicaid so I know for sure they accept health first I'm doing it in ny Presbyterian because I only live 9 blocks away
