My surgeons office told me to start my preop diet on march 10th for a surgery date of march 25. They told me to do the diet for 14 days, which would make my preop phase over next Monday. But my surgery is not until wednesday. What am I supposed to do for that day in between? Eat normal? Continue with preop? I know you cant eat/drink after midnight the day of surgery but I will still have all of tuesday to get through.

Have you called and asked what they want you to do? The day before my surgery I was strictly on Clear liquids, absolutely nothing else. It probably would be good to call and ask, that's what they are paid for! Good luck with your surgery!
