Ready, Set, Go!

One week from today I am having gastric sleeve surgery. I am currently on a full liquid 800 calorie diet that started 3 days ago. Most people are on a liquid diet 4 to 5 days before surgery, but because I'm diabetic my surgeon wanted me to start 10 days before. I was wondering how many others had to be on a liquid diet for greater than 5 days before surgery also any advice or inspiration to help working through this constant hunger feeling???

I was on my pre-op liquid diet for 15 days and mine was only 450 calories a day! You got off easy!

As for advice, I would say it really starts getting a bit easier after day 3 or 4, but it does suck all the way through. Just hang in there!

@@TAK66 I did 14 days. I just upped the willpower and did it. There's not a whole lot you can do but know it will end.
