I'm one board

Hello everyone I'm new to this site and I first want to introduce myself. I'm looking to have the RNY surgery by the end of the summer. I consider this to be a journey instead of a destination. I've been a heavyweight all my life, things got out of control around 2010 when my kidneys failed and I had aortic aneurysm dissection. I'm here and I'm fighting for my life baby. That's why my name is monster lol

Welcome! Good luck on this journey. I'm always up to chatting. It seems to be the only thing I want to talk about lately! Lol. I'm still pre-op.

I'm right there with ya, @Monster. If all goes according to plan, I should have the surgery by the end of July/ beginning of August. I also see it as a journey. I think through this process I am going to rediscover myself...and rediscover life!
