Newbie with nausea!

Hi everyone! I just had my surgery Mar. 4 and Ive been having a lot of trouble with nausea. Having trouble getting enough fluids and protein• Any idea what can be causing the nausea and how to resolve? Also would love to hear any tips for getting through the first few weeks of liquid diet.

Good morning,

I know the feeling that you are at. I was dealing with the same thing when I had my surgery 3 weeks ago. The only thing that helped me was sugar free peppermint candy. And when it comes to getting my Protein and other liquid in, I would do 30ml every 15 to 20 minutes...I used a timer on my phone, tablet to help me out....I helped a lot, even when I wasn't able to get all the 64 ozs in everyday...I was able to get close to it like 48ozs. I hope this helps some....Have a blessed day...
