First Appointment in 2 weeks

I have been thinking and researching this for about a year now. I got my Dr to refer me to a surgeon. March 18 will start this journey. I am so excited and also so nervous about the after effects. How to handle people, what to expect as far as weight loss, and my biggest scare is how am I going to look is my skin going to sag and look weird and be prone to rashes?

I'm actually still trying to figure out the answers to those questions and my surgery will be 3/16. I have only told a few a my family members and a few co workers. The support in my family is only about half there. The other half keep telling me the horror stories they have heard. I don't feel the need to tell all of my coworkers because it is my decision/business and it will not have an impact on them. My family will have to help me out during the process so they had to know.

As I figure out some of the other answers you are looking for I'll try to remember to post my experiences.
