South Florida Buddy?

I am almost six months post op and down 75 lbs. I still have a long way to go and I am finding myself getting discouraged and loosing myself in this process. I would love to have a buddy who lives close but am willing to work with anyone. I am 26 and would prefer someone within my age group who can relate.

Thanks

There is a bariatric support group that meets at South Miami Hospital each month on the forth Thursday of the month. (Check SMH website) I have been going to it since before my surgery. Anyone can attend. Very open and lots of great support.

Hello to you both. I'm out near Weston and a little older but young in spirit. A mother of 2 young kids (13 and 9). I'm suppose to have my surgery done on August 10th. Could use a buddy or two. Especially when needing someone to chat, vent or get encouragement from.
