Spleen Pain - I Think

Hi Everyone,

I am about 3 months post op, for the most part doing good...have lost approximately 50 lbs. I woke up this morning and it appears that my spleen (left side under ribcage) feels swollen and painful. :( Has anyone every had this phenomenon post op?

I feel ok and not sick to stomach or fatigued or course I need my 8 hours sleep so I go to sleep at 8-8:30 and get up at 5 am, I know that's 9 hours but when my honey comes to bed, so do the 3 dogs and they tend to wake me up ..so technically I can subtract an hour.. lol :P

Not sure if I want to go to the doctors just yet, it may be a bacterial infection working it's way out..who knows.

Any and all opinions welcome!! :D

umm you really cannot palpate ( feel) your spleen like that it has no sensation nerves in it as well, it would have to be severely inflamed before you would notice it physically, and that would be you screaming in pain if it was that big.
