BEST thing and money I have ever done and spent on myself.

Best wishes and I hope you will be only as sore as I was. I only had 2 days of very very mind tenderness/soreness . I still took advil ever 12 hours for 5 days per surgeon.

I considered it my mini vacation.

Congratulations and good luck! See you on the bandster side!

Congratulations! You will be just fine :myscared: It will be over before you know it and you will be back here telling us what a piece of cake it was.

I'm coming up on my 1 year bandiversary on July 5th and I've lost 105 lbs so far. Because of the band I am able to have both of my knees totally replaced this coming June 15th. The band saved my life.

Keep us posted on your progress!

Good Luck, I am so excited for you. My plans aren't to get banded until August, but I am trying to get every bit of info I can so I will be well prepared for when its my turn. Keep us posted

I'm getting banded tomorrow also!! It's been an emotional roller coaster this past week but it will be worth it!! This site has been such a useful tool and I aprreciater everyone's input. See you on the flipside.......:clap2:

Congrads, probably everyone gets nervous, but I hope it will be worth it. I just had mine on the 24th of May. I am still on the liquid diet. I was really more worried about the diet than the surgery, but so far so good. You really don't want to eat anyway at first. And it has take this long for food to even smell good to me. I am looking forward to the soft diet. Just take one day at a time and I'm sure you will be fine.

Good luck!! Can't wait to hear from you! Hope all goes well :myscared:

I will be praying for you... I am getting my band on June 5th, the day after you.... it is so nerve racking...
