Should I be concerned with problems at week 5

Today is wk 5 since surgery, I have been having issues of not having BM. The longest was 10days, and now I am only going 3-6 days, I have been suffering from nausea and having trouble eating. Has anyone else had this issue? I just feel life crap...literally. ..and don't know if I should check back with my bariatric doctor or just go to primary doctor. Or is all this normal? Help please! !!!!

I'd definitely talk to one of your drs. Have you taken any milk of magnesia? If not, take only a little to start, the runs aren't anymore fun than the stops.

I'm a little behind you at four and a half weeks and have had issues with constipation since the start. When I go longer than four or five days I get really nauseous. Not fun at all. It continues to be a battle. I tried miralax and couldn't choke it down. Tried smooth move tea and was up all night cramping with no results. Now I'm up to colace twice a day and then every few days I take milk of mag. Probably not a good long term solution but it works for now.

At the beginning it seemed i fought with diarrhea and now this. . I do take a lot of meds that probably isn't helping, guess I know what dr I have to go to next. .justajenn, that sounds like a very complicated plan. I had this problem before surgery, was hoping it would help. My other health problems I am not getting the best nutrition I should be. I pray this is going to get better soon.
