Waiting Insurance Approval.

Hi. I am new here. I have done everything that I am supposed to for the Insurance. The surgeon is just waiting for the psychological evaluation. How long does it usually take to get an insurance approval. I am just excited to get scheduled and was hoping to do it this month. I was told that it could be 3 weeks or more. Just wondering what you all have experienced.

I saw the doctor and pshy, and nutrionist on the 12 of April. I was approved by insurance on the 21 of May. My surgery was the 30th.

Good luck with your surgery. Waiting seemed to be the hardest, well until the pre-op diet starts..LOL> but you can make it through...we all have and so will you!

Best of luck...

It depends on the insurance companies. Some seem to get it out of the way while others seem to drag it on as if they are trying to discourage you.
