Hey all my surgery is scheduled for March 23rd and it's starting to feel more real now. For those that already had surgery..... how long were you down for the count and how long until you were actually up and about doing stuff and going out and about?

I was up walking within a hour of waking up from surgery. By day 3 I was out shopping and by day 5 I was flying home. I would say there was really no down time. Just more sleeping in the first 2 days. I do think you need to push your self and when you do you recover faster. Good luck

I had surgery at 9:30am and was walking around 9pm. I went home after 3 days, went to the grocery store (not alone!) for a few things at 7 days.
