Sleeve and hypothyroidism

Looking for some insight from post-ops, as I'm still pre-op. How was your hypothyroidism managed post sleeve? Are you able to hold down meds? Did your dosing change as you lost weight? Has anyone's thyroid returned to normal range/function? Thanks so much!

I was hoping to read replies and get answers as well. I am 12 days post- op and take medicine for hypothyroidism. I am currently on 50mg of Levoxyl. Hoping someone with experience replies :)

I have hypothyroidism and I am seven months post op and down 111 pounds. I was on 250 mcg of Synthroid a day prior to surgery. Now my dose is down to 137 mcg a day. My blood work had been stable for the last three months. I did not have any trouble swallowing my pill. I did not take it for about 4 days post op just because I was scared to try to swallow a pill, however it went down with ease. The surgeon said i could have taken it the day after surgery. Good luck you will do great!!
