Hello all!! Today is finally a week before my surgery and I'm so nervous. This has been a long over due process but this pre op diet has been killin me! I had a very small helping of chicken and i felt horrible but I'm going strong now it's hard because you never realize the relationship you have with food until you can't have any I think it's more of a mind thing and thinking about it. It's a process now I understand why one of the requirements was to see a psychologist. Your psyche has to be right this isn't my first time going through with weight loss I had s consultation when I was 23 but never went through now finally at 25 I'm mentally mature enough to handle what's to come if anyone has any motivational support or tips I'd appreciate the support thanks!!

Good luck! I had my surgery in December of 2012. One thing I remember prior to my surgery is I really wanted banana cream pie and boy if I could go back I would have at least tasted it. I weighed 315 and now weigh 135- 140 lbs. Please please make sure you buy yourself a gurdle. Take it with you to the hospital and put it on after surgery. No one told me about that and I finally had my husband buy one, I wish someone would told me about this. A couple post on at home my husband bought me one and it was the best thing ever. The pain was much more manageable and I felt secure with it on.
