First app.

Tomorrow is my first appointment. I went to the seminar three weeks ago and this is all I've been able to think about since then. The three weeks I've waited for my first appointment have been brutal enough. I don't know how I'm going to make it through the six months (or more) until the surgery. I know people say it goes so quickly but I'm so not good at being patient!

I remember feeling the exact same way. But time will pass at the same rate whether you are anxious and impatient or more relaxed and taking advantage of the time.

Before I knew it 3 months had passed....but my hip had totally gone out so I was forced to put RNY surgery on the back burner and have my hip replaced. In the beginning I thought 6 months was long....well 9 months will have passed by I get RNY. But it really did pass quickly.
